Throughout his career, he has led teams in delivering cutting-edge solutions that help businesses grow and succeed in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Paul co-founded both FeedHenry, a cloud-based mobile application platform which was acquired by Red Hat Software in 2014 and Kinzen, a content moderation tech company which was acquired by Spotify in 2022. He was the Chief Technology Officer at Storyful, which was acquired by News Corp in 2013, and more recently CaliberAI. He remains the Chief Technology Officer at a non-profit open-data organisation called OpenUp, South Africa. “Joining Michael, Stephen, and the team at SocioLocal with its unique proposition and growing customer base is exciting. The technology needed for multi-location social media marketing is so much more than just a dashboard and a multi-column user interface for posting. I’ve long had an interest in authentic social media from my days at Storyful providing the technology and tools to journalists covering global events from a local level through the Twitter firehose.”
Paul Watson, Chief Technical Officer, SocioLocal
Bringing Paul on board means exciting things for our team and our customers. His leadership skills will help us enhance SocioConnect and ensure the scalability and reliability of our platform for all new and current customers. He will also help us accelerate the future development of SocioConnect and bring exciting innovations for multi-location marketing.
We’re all delighted to welcome Paul aboard the SocioLocal train. We look forward to working closely with him in the months ahead and learning a lot from him!
